So after watching the clip like, totally only once or twice I swear, I’m pretty sure I’ve figured out how pro-bending works. Not sure if everyone’s figured all this out already, but I wanted to put this little thing together anyway since I missed out on the gif-making-train.

Don’t forget (I dont wanna check if i was nija’d sorry):

-the match starts off with fire paired with earth, but with waterbenders against each other

-the equipment is extremely similar to boxing equipment

-the earth benders have limited bending power (can only use earth disks put on select spots of the arena), while fire/waterbenders as usual can do whatever; personally I think this gives waterbenders the advantage, being able to freeze water and do all the hella awesome things Katara did in ATLA :)
